Bar Mitzvah Timeline for Winston:

  • 2:00 PM: Begin set-up.
  • 4:00 PM: Meals for the DJ/MC group.
  • 5:00 – 5:45 PM: Cocktails for adults on the patio, kids inside with airbrush tattoos, green screen, glass house photo booth, and drink station. Games led by Ricky.
  • 5:45 PM: Everyone moves inside for the big reveal; find seats. Curtain drawn.
  • 6:00 PM: Introduction of Winston with “All I Do Is Win” by DJ Khaled.
  • 6:20 PM: Everyone seated.
  • 6:25 PM: Welcomes and thank-yous by Gordon and Sophia.
  • 6:30 PM: Adult buffet opens; kids’ dance set and Winston trivia.
  • 6:45 PM: Kids head to buffet.
  • 7:15 PM: Candle lighting ceremony with specified songs. Script in Google Doc: Candle Lighting Script
  • 7:40 PM: HORA and dance session with the family.
  • 7:50 PM: Play “Money” by Lalisa, during which Sophia will have the crowd throw up dollar bills with Winston’s face on them. (maybe soul train line, so he can dance through with money raining)
  • 8:00 PM: Dessert for adults; games for kids including Speed Sort, Back to Back, the spinning game, and Coke Pepsi.
  • 8:10 PM: Kids’ dessert; adults continue dancing.
  • 8:15 PM: Gather everyone back to seats.

  • 8:30 PM: Mother/Son dance to “My Universe” by BTS and Coldplay, leading into open dancing.
  • 9:50 PM: Last song and closing circle.
  • 10:00 PM: Event ends with distribution of water bottles.
